Four local heroes honored Monday evening for saving a man's life

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Four local heroes were honored Monday evening with awards from F-M Ambulance after saving a 34 year old man's life in West Fargo.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Four local heroes were honored Monday evening with awards from F-M Ambulance after saving a 34 year old man's life in West Fargo.

On January 12th Justin Gress was running on a treadmill at Snap Fitness when he suddenly fell onto the floor going into sudden cardiac arrest. It was then heroes called 911 and began CPR.

Thanks to the quick efforts of Jill and Mike Weisenberger, as well as Sara Christensen and Joy Loiseau, Gress is alive and well today.

Jill Weisenberger - Hero: “It wasn't us four. We were the dose of things, but God's hand was on all of us and Justin. He has got things that are unfinished in his life, and he's got this whole big family. He has lots of support.”

Fargo Fire and F-M Ambulance are hosting a free event at West Acres Shopping Center this Saturday to learn Hands Free CPR. The 4 minute training sessions will be held from noon to 5 PM.
