Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The regular season is more important than ever in the Summit League with the top seed earning a first round bye.

Today, the two teams tied for that crucial number one spot squared off at the Bison Sports Arena.

And the place was packed to the roof, a season high 4,500 remember only 3 more games in the BSA after today.

The Bison strike on their first possession, Taylor Braun hits from downtown, and it's a quick 3-0 lead for the home team.

Marshall Bjorklund trying to bounce back from some rough games, he gets the offensive board, and the bucket to put NDSU in front 7-2.

Then it turns into the slam dunk contest, Braun with the steal, and 2-handed flush to give the Herd an 8-point lead.

What would a dunk contest be without this guy?

Trayvonn Wright gets the crowd rocking with the one-handed flush.

The BSA may be coming down early!

NDSU holds on for a huge win, 69-58. Wright leads the way with 15 points and as the Bison take over sole possession of first place in the summit league.
