NDSU hosts last place IUPUI

Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -The Bison men's basketball began the second half of their conference schedule inside the BSA, a place they'll be at often, five of the last seven games for NDSU are at home, opening the night in second place in the Summit League.

Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -The Bison men's basketball began the second half of their conference schedule inside the BSA, a place they'll be at often, five of the last seven games for NDSU are at home, opening the night in second place in the Summit League.

One of the last games in this building as the Bison hosted last place IUPUI.

Visitors jumped out to a 7-2 lead, but NDSU wakes up after that, thanks to its bench, Rothsay's Jordan Aaberg was terrific, knocks down the jumper, he had 11, Bison up 2.

Later in the first half, Lawrence Alexander was terrific all night, the drive to the cup and off-balanced finish. He led the floor with 17, Bison up 28-22

It got dicey late but NDSU hangs on to win it 66-60.

Bison didn't make a three pointer tonight, first time that's happened in a game since Feb. 6, 1993, 21 years to the day at Augustana.
