Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -It's one of the best stories going in Minnesota high school basketball and it's getting better by the day.

The Battle Lake boys have become one of the beasts in Class A Winning 28 of their last 29 games. The only blemish came in last year’s state tournament.

The team is led by a pair of brothers, making the whole team one big family.

Tyler Ukkelberg, Battle Lake senior forward: “Brought us really close and last year about half the team was related, it's about the same amount this year. So it's really like one big family, that just brought us even closer. We kind of got a taste of state last year and that's definitely our goal to go back this year.”

Dan Peterka, Battle Lake head coach: “Lot of guys back from the state tournament team a year ago. Those guys returning are good kids that work hard. As a coach you don't have to worry about the negative things, you just come to practice and they give everything every day and they are here to improve.”

Showdown with pelican rapids at Concordia on Saturday.
