Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -The Summit League tournament begins in just over a month and for Saul Phillips, he knows the most important stretch of the season begins tonight.
NDSU has seven games left in its regular season, five of them at home.
They host last place IUPUI tonight, starting the night in 2nd place in the Summit League, coming off a second league loss, but at this point in the season he doesn't sense any panic in his team.
Saul Phillips, NDSU head coach: “We know everything we're going to know about this team. We know we're capable, now go out and do it. It's important to recognize too when you look around the league, I don't think anybody is going to tap dance through this league with one, two losses. I don't think any given loss should send you into a panic. We didn't panic after we lost to IPFW. Regardless of what happens, it's a 14 game season and you just have to go out and win the next one.”
NDSU still leads the nation in field goal percentage at nearly 51 percent, 7 p.m. tip at the BSA.
