Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - The turnaround of the Dragon football team has been spurred by local players from Wahpeton and Grafton.

Steve Laqua continued that formula, grabbing Michael Strand from Barnesville and four Moorhead Spuds, including their quarterback and wide receiver combination, Tyler Eidness and Brett Lawrence.

Tyler Eidsness – MSUM Football Commit: “We talked about what colleges were talking to us and thinking about where to go, and we're like it be pretty cool to go to the same place. Moorhead has been progressively getting better and better and seeing the people that are a part of that. I think I would really meld well with their program.”

Brett Lawrence – MSUM Football Commit: “You can kind of see the improvement year by year and I kind of feel its going to get better and better. I think the future is pretty bright.”
