MSUM beats Winona State 82-80; Former Spud scores game winner

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Friday night, the Dragons lost in overtime to Upper Iowa, Saturday, another wild finish against NSIC leading Winona State.

They'd do it without Jordan Reiwer, he's out 4-6 weeks with a broken hand.

Dragons trailed by as much as 13 in this one, second half, Malik Wood drives through traffic and gets the bucket to go; Winona by 8.

But MSUM kept chipping away, with under 3 to go, Taylor Vaughn had six straight of his team high 22, that helped tie things up.

Now 80 all with 19.3 to play.

Former Spud Aaron Lien drives baseline; he gets the running jumper with 2 seconds to go.
