Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - If you head to the movies next weekend to see the new George Clooney film "The Monuments Men..." keep your eyes peeled for a Fargo native.

2012 Davies High School graduate Connor Linnerooth is a "featured extra" in the movie, meaning he doesn't just blend into the background.

He is in a scene with John Goodman, delivering a letter.

Linnerooth spoke to us via Skype from his college dorm room in Hollywood, where he is studying to be an actor.

He explained how thrilling it was to meet big stars like George Clooney while on set.

Connor Linnerooth/Featured Extra: "I actually was lucky enough to have lunch with John Goodman and Bill Murray because on the set we had our lunch break together. So, I sat down and started talking to the guys and they're amazing people. To meet them in person was amazing.">

Often, extra work ends up on the cutting room floor.

But Linnerooth says he spotted himself in the film's trailer, which he is taking as a good sign.
