Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -The tough road stretch for the Bison men's basketball team continues tonight in Vermillion as Saul Phillips’ team takes on South Dakota.

NDSU so far has gone 2-1 on its Summit League road trips, but the Dakota Dome is unlike any other basketball venues that the Bison will play in this season.

Saul Phillips, NDSU head coach: “That environment is very different, I mean it's like playing on an airport runway, you're kind of out there in the middle of nowhere. As the court is laid down a little bit away from the bleachers in the dome, it's a different atmosphere.”

Carlin Dupree, NDSU guard: “We know that Denver is coming in to be one of the better teams in the league and we know that South Dakota is a good team so if we go off and get these wins we should be in good condition.”
