Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo man lead police on a chase last night that ended with the suspect's vehicle and a police car colliding.

Thirty-eight year-old Roland Dorr of Fargo is facing a long list of charges including DUI, reckless driving and fleeing. Lieutenant Joel Vettel said the incident started just after 6 last night when police were alerted about a possible drunk driver.

The vehicle was found in a parking lot on 7th Ave. and University Drive. It looked like the driver was assaulting a female passenger.

“Of course the officer was trying to initiate at least a conversation with him. At that point, the officers did initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle decided to go the wrong way down North University Drive which is a one way. At that point, the officers continued until they recognized that due to time and traffic and danger, at some point they did stop the pursuit,” Lt. Joel Vettel said.

The suspect was later arrested after colliding with a squad car. No one was seriously injured.
