Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Veterans Boulevard, known as the divider between Fargo and West Fargo is now a center for construction.
From apartments to new restaurants, an area that was once a boundary line of the city is now breaking barriers.
When was the last time you drove south on Veterans Boulevard? If it's been a while you will be surprised by all of the development.
Looking at this construction site, you can tell it is going to be a shopping center even though it's only the bare bones of one right now.
Actually about 15 shops will be inside this just over 33,000 square foot structure.
In a couple months, Galleria on Veterans will be filled with restaurants, some fast food, clothing stores, and a coffee shop, located at 5675 26th Ave South next to I-94 the first shops should start opening April 1st.
Driving a little further south on Veterans you'll see another building site it will soon be the Red River Valley Funeral Home and Crematory.
The only funeral home in town with cremation services on site, you can see where the crematory will go with the silver beans in the southwest corner, located at 820 34th Avenue East the funeral home is set to open the first part of May.
Both construction projects have been set back because of the snow, wind and cold which may have crews playing a bit of catch up to make their target dates for opening.
