Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -UND has been the hottest team in the country over the last two months thanks to its goal tending. And now they have to deal with Zane Gothberg being out of the lineup.

Dave Hakstol said today that the former Force net minder is out indefinitely with a lower body injury that he got Tuesday afternoon in practice, meaning Clarke Saunders takes over for a big weekend series in Denver.

Mark Macmillan, UND junior forward: “The thing about having two great goalies, one goes down the way Zane did there, it doesn't change anything for us. Just kinda gotta turn the page and we're gonna be great with Clark in there.”

Nick Mattson, UND junior defenseman: “It's one of those things where Zane has just been playing so good that you can't really take him out of the net, but Clark's, Clark's unbelievable too, so that’s not really even a thing we're going to think about. We have all the confidence in the world with him.”

UND split at Denver last season, 8:30 p.m. faceoff on Friday night, you can hear it on 970 WDAY.
