Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -The future of the NFL has gathered this week in Mobile, Ala. as scouts, general managers and coaches watch the Senior Bowl.
Former Bison assistant Gus Bradley is there, he's coaching the South roster.
His Jaguars went 4-12 this season and has plenty of needs on the roster, namely at quarterback and he says a week with these prospects can go a long way.
Gus Bradley, Jaguars head coach: “We don't want to make a habit out of this, but as long as we are in this position we want to take advantage of it. We are competing, we are going after these guys in meeting rooms, we are talking to them outside the meeting rooms. It's great. We are not going to be able to draft everybody, obviously, but there is going to be a chance maybe three, four years down the line when free agency comes up they will remember our coaching staff and I think it's the whole concept of getting to know these guys, getting to know their personalities. It's so beneficial to our organization.”
Bradley is coaching former NDSU All-American Billy Turner. the Senior Bowl is at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
