Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -Here's more pressure than usual for the Twins to have a successful season this year, because the eyes of the baseball world will be fixed on Minneapolis in July as the All-Star Game comes to Target Field.

It's the first time the game will be played in the Twin Cities since 1985 when it was at the Dome and the attention around the game has certainly changed.

Trevor Plouffe, Twins third baseman: “In our circle Target Field is the most beautiful field in the big leagues, think I'm biased really open their eyes to our city.

Dave St. Peter, Twins president: “The all-star summer has expanded drastically since the last time in Minnesota. Certainly ticket demand is high for All Star Game, Homerun derby and futures game and will be opportunities to be involved through a random draw.”

The All-Star game is July 15, preceded by the Futures Game and Home Run Derby.
