Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - The UND women's basketball team couldn't have had a better start to the conference season, Travis Brewster's squad jumped out to a 6-0 start.
But, after suffering their first conference loss Saturday at the hands of Montana State, the focus is on making sure the team can bounce back quickly with a weekend trip to California and Arizona coming up this week.
Travis Brewster/UND Head Coach: “Being 6-1, you have to take time to reflect on it for a second. But, then you can't sit back and worry about it. It's time to keep moving forward. I think right now that it's not the end of the season. That's one of the things that we need to get over a little bit and that comes with maturity. We'll take it right now and see what we can do next week.”
Makaliah Dyer/UND Soph. Guard: “We're still tied for first and we feel good about that. We're just going to take these next two games, dust this one off, and get ready for next week.
