Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - For an entire generation of viewers the machine featured in this next story will surely trigger nostalgia.

"A sensory explosion."

For many of you, these sights and sounds need no explanation.

"They're amazing to watch."

But, if you want, Fargo entrepreneur Scott Nelson will give you one.

Scott Nelson/Fargo Entrepreneur: "It's a blast. I mean, who doesn't want to play with a cool machine?"

And maybe that's why in only a few days of existence Tilt Pinball's Facebook page has attracted hundreds of likes and several curious looky-loo's peeking into its window on Broadway.

"I've been playing pinball most of my life. Until recent years when you can't hardly find a pinball machine. But I'm so happy this place exists. I can't even tell you guys."

The goal, clearly, is to provide a place to unleash the pinball wizard of yester year while casting a wider net.

Nelson: "Hipsters, or progressive people or downtown people or students or gamers or nerds or geeks or Sci-Fi people."

And it'll run much like a gym.

And just like the old days, while these will still buy you your plays, but you're going to need a membership to make it through the door."

Nelson: "Initially, we'll charge $35 for a first year's membership. And then it will be a $20 renewal."

But it's not just a membership you're buying from classics like Fireball, to Nelson's favorite Addams Family all 11 machines offer a window to the past the thrill of a multi-ball game and an inevitable conclusion.

For those of you know chomping at the bit Tilt Pinball is set to open up in about two weeks.

In that time it will also launch a website that will include a link to membership application.
