Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - The hottest team in the country returns to the ice Friday night as UND takes its seven game winning streak to Bemidji this is the longest win streak for North Dakota since March of 2012.

It's been a complete 180 for Dave Hakstol's team, who struggled for the first two months of the year.

They seemed to have found their groove and will try to continue their domination of Bemidji State, winning 25 of 29 games.

Rocco Grimaldi/UND Soph. Forward: “Obviously, we're looking for two wins. That's first and foremost. We're just focusing on Friday right now and going into their building, trying to get a win. I've never played in there personally, but from what I hear from especially freshman year that it's a tough place to play. They're a hard team to play against. They do a good job of making the neutral zone a little smaller than it is, squeezing us out and making us dump pucks in. So, we have to go in there sharp, focused and ready for a battle.”

This is a home and home series this weekend, Saturday night they'll play in Grand Forks.
