Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -We're feeling some of the strongest winds of the season today in a ground blizzard. They've been raging all day, leaving some wondering how much longer it will last.

For those who haven't ventured outside city limits today, they might not realize just how bad things are.

But from where we're standing at the weigh station in Moorhead there are strong winds and blowing snow.

Winds have reached up to 60 mph gusts in Fargo It made for some tough travel for truck drivers out on the road. They say while the roads were not too icy, the visibility was zero in many areas.

Cory Dyck, truck driver: "Pretty bad in some spots, other spots not too bad. Near the North Dakota South Dakota line it was near zero at points. I can do 50-55 mph and it's not so bad but there were people doing 25, 30 as well."

The good news is that is supposed to change within the next couple of hours.
