Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - It was an impressive weekend for the Dragons men's basketball team as they took care of Concordia, St. Paul and MSU Mankato, the latter came in ranked number 12 in the country.

Chad Walthall knew he didn't have a ton of experience this year, but he had talent and has tried to find that right mix to make the Dragons a conference contender in 2014.

Chad Walthall/MSUM 4th Year Head Coach: “You have to have guys that are really good in the locker room and guys that really grasp and really appreciate practice, and the ability to get better. We just say, hey let's make today better than yesterday and not as good as tomorrow. We just want to do a step by step process. That's how we approach things.”

Jordan Riewer/MSUM Junior Guard: “I think everyone's goal is to win every game you play and win the conference. You play hard every night, and hopefully the ball goes our way and things go well.”

Dragons hit the road to Bemidji State on Friday, next four away from home
