Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - It seems as if the holiday break had no effect on the North Dakota hockey team.

UND had a chance for a third straight series sweep tonight.

A seventh consecutive win welcoming Colorado College at the Ralph.

Fast start for the home team, Mark MacMillan with the strong move to the net, the terrific toe drag and slides the puck in for his 6th of year.

1-0 UND.

It's a 1-1 game into the 3rd when CC takes the lead; with the man advantage; Jacob Slavin has the puck come right to him, he roofs the rebound.

2-1 Tigers.

5 minutes later UND responds; the Devils Lake product Keaton Thompson unleashes the slapshot from the point, what a laser, his 2nd of the season, we're tied up at 2!

Just over two minutes later, disaster for the Tigers, they misplay the puck, it goes right to Rocco Grimaldi, who buries it on his 2nd chance.

And UND gets a hard-earned sweep this weekend

3-2 the final they have won 7 straight, just a point out of first in the NCHC.
