NDSU beats IUPUI in Mens Basketball

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The NDSU men's basketball team was picked to win the Summit League, They sure didn't look like that team on Thursday night turning the ball over 15 times in a loss at Fort Wayne, Saul Phillips squad looked to right the ship at IUPUI today, The Bison swept the season series last year.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The NDSU men's basketball team was picked to win the Summit League, They sure didn't look like that team on Thursday night turning the ball over 15 times in a loss at Fort Wayne, Saul Phillips squad looked to right the ship at IUPUI today, The Bison swept the season series last year.

It was just a four point game at halftime.

But the Bison put the hammer down in the 2nd, they force the steal, Taylor Braun grabs the loose ball and goes in for the lay-in.

NDSU up eight.

Later in the 2nd half, Lawrence Alexander with the drive and the tough finish, he battled foul trouble all game long;

The lead up to ten.

Now 48-40 Bison, Chris Kading kicks it out to Braun, who drains the deep three, he had 16. NDSU up by double digits.

TrayVonn Wright was tremendous he takes the pass and the big time throwdown!

Wright had a career high 24.

Bison up a dozen.

Kory Brown was terrific as well, takes the pass, the hoop and the foul, he had 11 points and 10 boards

And the Bison get a much needed win, 87-64.

Five players get into double figures, Bison 1-1 in league play, host Omaha on Thursday.
