Fargo, ND (WDAY Tv) - After a non-conference schedule that took them to four different time zones and registers another game changing win for the program, the hard work really begins for the Bison men's basketball team.

NDSU begins Summit League play tomorrow night at Fort Wayne, the Bison enter as the preseason conference favorites, they're 11-4 and hoping those games against Notre Dame and Ohio State will give them an extra edge.

Saul Phillips/7th Year NDSU Head Coach: “Well we got nine of our last ten or something like that our loss is to Ohio State, certainly we feel good about ourselves, it's good to be confident going into games but it's also important that we recognize that everything to this point all it does is prepare us. It doesn't give us any advantage other than we draw from those experiences.”

Marshall Bjorklund/Started 109 Straight Games: “We got last year’s Summit League Championship Game in the back of our minds, so we are hungry and we know what we expect of ourselves. That pre-season non-conference schedule really prepared us for our Summit League Conference games and hopefully that pays off”

Phillips says player of year favorite Taylor Braun should play this week, he's battling a sprained ankle.
