Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Two at-gunpoint-robberies in as many months, it's a stark contrast to the otherwise incident-free 17 years for the F-M Mister Money pawn store owners.
At about 9:30 Tuesday morning, police say two masked men walked into the 25th Street Mister Money, and demanded cash while holding a gun.
Store owner Ruth Kapaun says the 2 clerks working are doing well, and counseling is available to them through workers comp.
One of the clerks was also behind the counter when the West Fargo Mister Money was robbed in November.
Kapaun says she doesn't want Fargo to turn into a Miami, where customers have to be buzzed in, but with 5 robberies in the F-M area recently, she might not have a choice.
Ruth Kapaun/Owner, Mister Money: “For us it makes us feel as North Dakotans that this isn't right. Our employees are long term employees that are family, friends as well. And for them to come to work and not feel safe because of criminals is just really not acceptable.”
Fargo Police are not releasing the surveillance video, saying it would not help the investigation.
