Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Two men held up a store in a bold daylight armed robbery in South Fargo Tuesday morning.
Police say the robbery might be linked to a similar one in November.
For the second time in just under 2 months, a Mister Money pawn store has been robbed at gunpoint.
We spoke with one of the owners who didn't want to go on camera, but told us that one of the tellers in today's robbery was also behind the counter when the West Fargo Mister Money was robbed back on November 12th.
Police were called this morning at about 9:30 AM, after 2 masked men walked into the Mister Money on 25th street at Sunmart Plaza, pointed a hand gun at the teller, and demanded cash.
There were 2 clerks behind the counter, as well as a customer inside.
The clerks did give the men cash before the robbers took off on foot.
K9 units were used in the wide search to try and track down the robbers,
Lt. Joel Vettel/Fargo Police Department: “the males are being described as two males both between the heights of 5'6 and 5'8. They're both described as black males, very dark in color. They are describing their voices as having some sort of accent.”
Lieutenant Vettel says there are indications that the two Mister Money robberies are connected, and Fargo Police are working with West Fargo PD to find those responsible.
The FBI and the ATF are also involved with the ongoing investigation.
