Travel alert in effect for areas in eastern ND between Highway 2 and I-94

Dickinson, ND (WDAY TV) - The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a travel alert for eastern North Dakota between, and including, Highway 2 and I-94 due to areas of blowing snow and scattered ice creating hazardous driving conditions, especially in passing lanes. No travel is advised in Mercer or Oliver County due to extreme cold temperatures and icy county roads.

Dickinson, ND (WDAY TV) - The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a travel alert for eastern North Dakota between, and including, Highway 2 and I-94 due to areas of blowing snow and scattered ice creating hazardous driving conditions, especially in passing lanes.

Cities included are Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Valley City and surrounding areas.

A Travel Alert remains in effect for the southwestern region of North Dakota due to blowing snow causing reduced visibility. Cities included are Beach, Dickinson, Mott, Hettinger Bowman, and surrounding areas.

No travel is advised in Mercer or Oliver County due to extreme cold temperatures and icy county roads.

Motorists can still travel in these areas, but should be advised of rapidly changing conditions and extremely cold wind chills.
