Frisco, TX (WDAY TV) - Thursday, the NDSU Bison and Towson Tigers had the rare opportunity to take their mind off of football.

Welcome back to Frisco.

We already know the boys in Green and Gold can dominate on the gridiron but how do they fare on a bowling alley?

"Chase you are obviously the best bowler on the team."

"Where does this come from?"

Chase Morlock/Best Bison Bowler: "You know, I'd like to say so here. But to be honest, it's coming out of nowhere here. I'm bowling spares and strikes across the board and I don't know where it's coming from. But I think it's the hat."

Although the event is for fun the athletes did display a competitive edge.

But it provides a much needed break during a busy week.

Bennie Wilson/Bison Fullback: "Just to get away from it for a little bit is always nice. And we can come together as a team and have a little fun. "

Moorhead native Chase Morlock threw a 193-the highest score of the round.

The teams also took part in a community outreach event earlier in the day.
