Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - Timberwolves fans were up in arms Monday night after a controversial finish against Dallas.

The Wolves trailed by two with seconds to play when Kevin Love was hit on the arm by Shawn Marion while attempting to shoot.

There was no foul called on the play, which resulted in Dallas escaping with a 100-98 win.

The NBA said Tuesday that it should have been a foul and Love should've went to the free-throw line for two shots.

After the game, head coach Rick Adelman didn't hold back frustration.

Rick Adelman- Timberwolves Head Coach, FSN: “He got fouled. I'm just wondering what that would've been if it would've been Nowitzki, Lebron James or all of the top players in the league. A guy reaches in on a last second shot like that instead of challenging it. Maybe they don't understand that Kevin is one of the top five players in the league.”
