BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck police say federal authorities are slated to investigate a fire at the military recruiting station that injured one man and caused $30,000 in damage.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that the Thursday night blaze was contained to the military recruiting station that's located in a downtown strip mall.

Police say one man who was in the building when the fire started was treated and released at a Bismarck hospital for injuries. No one else was in the building.

Officer Pat Renz says the man's affiliation with the military recruiting station has not been established.
