Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - New Hampshire enters Friday night's FCS semifinal with NDSU with an understanding of how good their opponent is.
But they also know what the environment is going to be inside the Dome, today UNH was practicing indoors specifically for that reason trying to acclimate themselves to the loudness of the Fargodome, they brought in speakers and were blaring them throughout practice in an effort to get the Wildcats ready for the Bison throng.
Sean Goldrich/UNH Quarterback: “Definitely going to be different, but one heck of an experience, looking forward to it, going to be loud, we've overcome a lot of challenges this year and why not another one.”
Mike Macarthur/UNH Kicker: “It's a unique atmosphere so we're trying to recreate its loud and hope that it translates on Friday.”
Sean McDonnell/UNH Head Coach: “We got the sound systems it works out pretty well with crowd noise never been in a dome but I think our kids will handle it pretty well.”
The most famous UNH football alum? Chip Kelly, current coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, he was an offensive coordinator for the Wildcats for seven years.
