St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - It was nearly a disastrous road trip for the Minnesota Wild last week, they were handled in losses to Anaheim and San Jose and nearly lost a third game in Colorado, needed a late goal then a big save in a shootout just to get two points.

Now they return home Tuesday to face an old foe, former division rival Vancouver.

Mike Yeo/Wild Head Coach: “Good rivalry, two teams battling it out in the standings here, as much as anything else the way they have been playing lately they are on top of their game and they are certainly feeling it so it's a good test.”

Zach Parise/Wild Forward: “With a tough start to it with those two losses I think it was important for us to win, get a win in our last game kind of in dramatic fashion again in Colorado. It's just a better feeling when you come back winning at least one out of the three than going ofer on the trip.”

Currently the Wild sit in eighth place in the West with 43 points, Canucks just two ahead of them.
