Salvation Army Christmas

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Christmas came a little early in Fargo-Moorhead for those in need.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Christmas came a little early in Fargo-Moorhead for those in need.

The Salvation Army Monday distributed more than 800 boxes of food to families in the metro area.

Luther Family Ford, 52nd Avenue WalMart and West Fargo high school students all helped in putting together the holiday package.

Hornbacher’s donated hams, Cass Clay creamery items and RDO all helped in giving items and cash.

200 food baskets are also being delivered to shut-ins around Fargo-Moorhead.

Brad Jordet- Luther Family Ford: “We try to do it Thanksgiving and boxes and we are doing 800 some boxes today and we can pack them pretty quick and we have been doing it 10 years probably.”

Luther Family Ford also assists the Salvation Army serving hot meals on Thanksgiving Day to the needy.
