Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - On a day where they honored the all-metrodome team, it only seemed right that a bunch of guys that Vikings fans had never heard of led the team to their biggest upset of the season.

Without Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart the Vikings were down to third string running back Matt Asiata against NFC east leading Philadelphia.

Matt Cassel passed for 382 yards, the most for a Viking since a guy named Favre.

And Greg Jennings was his favorite target, this 57-yard touchdown was just the start. 11 catches for 163.

The Vikings go up 24-9 early in the third, on this Cassel touchdown run.

Philly's high-powered offense was stuck in neutral.

More Vikings fans probably know Drew Trafton's name better than Shaun Prater, but in his first start for the Vikings he intercepts his former Eagles teammate.

Start of the 4th, the Vikings 3rd string tight end, Chase Ford makes the catch, and turns it into a 37 yard gain.

That sets up another third stringer, Asiata for his 2nd of 3 touchdowns in the game.

He had 3 career rushes before the day started.

Vikings win 48-30.

Matt Cassel/26-35, 382 yds, 2 TD, Rush TD: “We had a lot of guys step up today that were called into action. I think everyone of us took it as a great challenge today to step up and I think everyone of us rose to the occasion.”

The Packers rally from 23 down to win by one at Dallas and Jay Cutler leads Chicago to a win over the Browns.
