It appears for the 2nd year in a row the Heisman Trophy will be handed to a freshmen

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - College football's biggest award, the Heisman Trophy will be handed out Saturday night, and for the 2nd straight season, it appears it will go to a freshman.

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is the favorite by a long shot, he has passed for nearly 4,000 yards, 38 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, all while leading the Seminoles to a perfect 13-0 record and a spot in the BCS national championship.

Last year's winner Texas A and M quarterback Johnny Manziel is among the 6 finalists as well.
