High school students attend career expo

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - More than 800 area high school freshmen filled the floor of the Fargodome today for an impressive show. Trade experts from around the region showed off exciting aspects of their professions through interactive displays at the 11th annual Health, Tech and Trades Career Expo.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - More than 800 area high school freshmen filled the floor of the Fargodome today for an impressive show.

Trade experts from around the region showed off exciting aspects of their professions through interactive displays at the 11th annual Health, Tech and Trades Career Expo.

According to the Wall Street Journal, 50 million new and existing jobs will open within the next decade, when most of these students expect to enter the workforce.

Jake Fritz/9th Grader from Shanley High School: " It's really neat how they did all this stuff. I don't know how they got all of it in here, but, it's pretty cool. Kind of a social gathering, too. Good to get away from school."

Healthcare, Leisure and Hospitality and Technology and Informational Service careers are expected to be in high demand within the next decade.
