Is your Jack Frost nipped nose getting you down?
With a little bit of holiday spirit and some imagination, you can turn that frown around when the temps go down.
The consistent subzero cold provides an opportunity to create some interesting winter-themed crafts.
You can start off making ice ornaments for a tree with just a muffin tin. Just loop some string in each one of the cup holes. Once the holes are threaded, just fill it up with water.
You can also take a balloon and fill it up with water for another decoration idea. We recommend getting inside to a faucet, but we’ll get back to these later when they're nice and frozen.
Now let’s see if we can have some fun with windows.
Just fill a spray bottle with water, and just like that... Frost on demand!
So let’s check back with our icy friends. Just peel the latex off the balloon. You pop out the ice ornaments, and voila! You’re on a start to a winter wonderland!
And with the winter comes a little bit of holiday magic. Just some boiling water in these freezing temperatures evaporates into nothing.
You can also find more ideas on websites like Pinterest and Reddit to help you get through these winter months with a smile.
