Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's bittersweet news for Bison fans.

Yes, Craig Bohl was introduced today as the next head coach at the University of Wyoming.

But, he will remain with NDSU as the team tries to win a 3rd consecutive national championship.

It's a 5-year deal for Bohl at Wyoming, mand he'll make a base salary of $750,000,that's a half a million dollar raise, and that number will increase each year, plus incentives.

During his introductory press conference, Bohl couldn't help but show appreciation for his time in Fargo.

Craig Bohl/Named Wyoming Head Coach – Wyoming Athletics: “We had a very minimal time to talk. I was very focused on North Dakota State, but he was able to articulate to me the vision of where our football program needs to go and the resources that are going to be given to allow us to experience success. It was amazing, the connection that we had and how we saw things eye to eye. And it has to be that way to where the athletic director is in sync with the head football coach and we're rolling up our sleeves with these guys in the back of the room to get this job done.”

Bohl also told Wyoming reporters that, quote "I think you're going to see a Lion's share of our staff at North Dakota State come here."

We'll keep an eye on those developments.
