Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) While most of us are spending the winter's coldest day cuddled up inside... others aren't so lucky.

Before today, I didn't even realize window washers worked during wintertime.

But men from Mr. Sparkle are out making sure your windows are clean, at least until their fingers freeze.

The men of Mr. Sparkle call themselves cold blooded,

Ryan Davidson/Mr. Sparkle Employee: “It's a great way to make some cold hard cash.”

Tim Olson/Mr. Sparkle Owner: “It's cold, you move a lot slower.”

Braving some of our most brutal days, while reaching, washing, and wiping their way through wintertime.

Olson: “Since 1998.”

Owner Tim Olson has spent 16 of the country's cold seasons, mastering the skill.

Olson: “it's just learning the tricks over the years, my first year doing this I literally cried.”

Tricks to keep the cold water from freezing, Like finding a special solution.

The magical mix- alcohol and wiper fluid.

Olson: “It's keeping our fingers warm that's a little trickier”

And while washing windows make look and sound like a real pain,

Davidson: “I can hardly feel my toes.”

Eric Jarabek/Mr. Sparkle Employee: “Then the nose and face go.”

These guys find a way to keep warm.

Olson: “You don't think about the cold as much when you're working together.”

Jarabek: “Most jobs, I think the things that make the difference are who you work with.”

All to forget about the freezing feelings taking over their feet, At least until the job's done.

Olson: “It's still bad, I am not going to lie.”
