Trio arrested in drug bust near Fargo elementary school plead not guilty

FARGO – Three people charged in a drug bust near an elementary school here pleaded not guilty in Cass County District Court on Thursday.

FARGO – Three people charged in a drug bust near an elementary school here pleaded not guilty in Cass County District Court on Thursday.

Tawni Johnson, 26, Brady Swanson, 25, and Brandon Wahl, 29 were arrested after a drug bust at an apartment that is located within 500 feet of Jefferson Elementary School, 1701 4th Ave. S.

Officers found 11 grams of meth, prescription pills and marijuana within reach of three-children living at the apartment.

Johnson and Wahl each face seven charges, including felony level drug charges and child endangerment.

Swanson faces one count of drug possession, a Class C felony.

All three are scheduled to return to court on Jan. 28.
