Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) – Businesses aren’t the only new developments in the metro. Construction workers are keeping busy with new homes, as well.
It’s shopping season and while many spend their days wandering store shelves, a new type of buying is taking over: Housing.
New developments are popping up all over, giving you more options.
It’s huge and it’s not even finished yet, but soon, it will be a one-story multiple family building with underground parking called Veterans Park Apartments. Located at 2915 Bluestem Drive, it’s expected to be done before the new year.
In the same neck of the woods, right south of Freedom Elementary, there are about 215 new houses that have just been built or are in the process of being built. Construction started in 2011. The houses range from mid-level to high-end, roughly costing anywhere from $150,000 to $650,000.
And Eventide is building a new campus right south of the Scheels Arena. This one will be similar to the one located in Moorhead, featuring 96 private residence rooms and 70 senior living apartments.
Located at 3225 51st Street South, the $33 million construction project is set to be done in the spring of 2015.
One thing that can push back these construction projects: Cold weather and snow.
