RHAME, N.D. (AP) — Cellphone customers in far southwest North Dakota could have better cellphone coverage sometime next year.

Rhame city auditor Margie Russ tells The Dickinson Press a communications company under contract by AT&T plans an environmental site assessment near the town's water tower.

She says a new cell tower there would greatly improve phone service in Rhame, which has little to no reception.
