Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - Minnesota coming off a tough loss to Wisconsin, still with plenty to play for against Michigan State on Saturday.
The Gophers can pick up win number nine for the first time since 2003, and despite some shaky play by Philip Nelson late in the game, the coach knows he's the right guy under center.
Jerry Kill/Minnesota Head Coach: “We had some balls dropped, probably one he'd like to have back is we had Maxx down the middle with about 11 minutes to go. He made some good decisions and so forth and he's a competitive person and I'm sure we all want to do better.”
Brock Vereen/Corner Back: “We still have a lot to play for and that it is definitely something that hasn't been the situation around here lately, at this point it's how big of a bowl game do we want to go to.”
