West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Justice for Jonas supporters aren't showing any signs of giving up.

At Monday night’s West Fargo School Board meeting, the room was packed full of people rallying around the coach.

Jim Jonas was asked to step down as West Fargo High School's basketball and football coach after a recent complaint, but many people, including former athletes, don't agree with the decision.

Brandon Laufenberg- Former West Fargo Student Athlete: "I don't usually talk in public places, but something about this really hit me hard because Jonas; he did a lot for me in my life. He was always there for me. Any questions, he helped me; life decisions and stuff like that."

West Fargo School officials explained that although they understand the compassion for Jonas, they do not discuss personal matters.
