Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Sick and injured kids sitting in Sanford Hospital beds had a special surprise this afternoon.

NDSU football coach Craig Bohl, players and Thundar (the team mascot) stopped in to say hi to the children.

That included checking in on this 13-year-old Bison fan who was just diagnosed with Chrones disease Monday.

Ian Foley- Bison Fan: "It was really awesome. I got a frisbee, a shirt and this Bison from the guys."

Some parents seemed to be even more excited than the kids to meet the team.
