Three people injured in Davenport crash

DAVENPORT, N.D. – Three people were injured after the SUV they were in collided with a pay loader near here Monday morning.

DAVENPORT, N.D. – Three people were injured after the SUV they were in collided with a pay loader near here Monday morning.

The SUV was headed east on County Road 6 behind the pay loader which was being followed by a semi, according to a release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 9:12 a.m., the SUV attempted to pass both vehicles as the pay loader was turning onto 161st Avenue Southeast and the forks of the pay loader struck the SUV.

The SUV was sent into the ditch and rolled multiple times, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

All three people in the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The sheriff’s office said all three were wearing seatbelts.
