GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota business school is bursting at the seams.

School officials say they need a new facility that has more technology, corporate-sponsored rooms and space for student projects and studying.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that enrollment in UND's College of Business and Public Administration is 2,007, nearly double what J. Gamble Hall was designed to hold when it was built in 1968.

The college is one of only 681 accredited business schools in the world and one of only 10 in the Upper Midwest.

School officials say the number of students in business has grown more than 38 percent since 2000. The number of teachers has increased by 27.5 percent in the same time period.
