Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - After a body camera catches a UND campus police officer watching porn, law enforcement at schools around the metro weigh in on this tech-y security tool.

Police at NDSU say they don't currently use body cams, but have looked into them.

They've even asked Fargo's spy shop for a quote.

These little cameras can clip on and record anything the officers see.

Be it students, staff, even crime.

As well as keep an eye on officers to make sure they're doing their jobs.

And students here say after the porn incident at UND, they might not be a bad idea.

Addison Czczeck/NDSU Sophomore: “Serves him right, you know, work at work.”

Lane Flaten/NDSU Freshman: “Not only would it see what the officers are doing, make sure officer is doing his job, it sees what anyone else is doing.”

Bill Vandal/NDSU Chief of Police:” It is becoming popular, I see it as a good tool for law enforcement and I also see it as a good tool for the citizens.”

The UND Officer- Dan Lund, was a supervisor and has resigned. He was with the department for sixteen years.
