Bison hope to go undefeated in regular season

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU enters its final game of the regular season Saturday with a chance to accomplish something that hasn't been done since 1990, that's go undefeated during the regular season.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU enters its final game of the regular season Saturday with a chance to accomplish something that hasn't been done since 1990, that's go undefeated during the regular season.

NDSU hosts South Dakota on Saturday, with a chance to go 11-0, and with just two losses over the last two years, quietly among the players this was a goal for 2013.

Ryan Drevlow/NDSU Sr. Defensive Tackle: “We’ve wanted to be unbeaten, that was a big thing that decides winning the Missouri Valley, we didn’t want that blemish, it’s like kissing your sister really I mean the last two years going through that loss you know it helped us and kind of woke us up. That’s something, we hate losing, that’s something we’ve always strove for, to be unbeaten.”

Tervor Gebhart/NDSU Jr. Wide Receiver: “It’s something we’ve thought about you know I don’t think it’s necessarily been our foremost goal. Obviously our first goal was to win the Valley and you know do what you gotta do to win that. That’s checked off we definitely have other goals that are in sight and we’re definitely going to pursue those.”

USD has won in a tough road spot earlier this season beating Northern Iowa, 2:30 kickoff Saturday.
