Two Fargo home invasions within four hours

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo police responded to two home invasion robberies in a four-hour span, and say they have reason to believe they're connected.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo police responded to two home invasion robberies in a four-hour span, and say they have reason to believe they're connected.

The first call came in at 6:30 in the 2200 block of 17th Street South.

Police say several men entered an apartment, demanded "property" and displayed a knife.

As for the victims, they admit the crime is drug-related.

Just hours later, around 10:40, a similar home invasion in the 4000 block of 18th Avenue South.

Again, a group of men entered an apartment, demanding "property.”

Lieutenant Joel Vettel- Fargo Police Department: “With the second one being very closely related again, not just by time, but also by the fact of the description of the suspect, would give us every reason to believe they are connected.”

Vettel says it's believed the suspects and victims might have known each other.
