Mahnomen wins against Bethlehem Academy

Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - At the Metrodome, Mahnomen trying to punch it's ticket to a 3rd consecutive state championship game, hosting Bethlehem Academy, the team they beat for last year's title.

Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - At the Metrodome, Mahnomen trying to punch it's ticket to a 3rd consecutive state championship game, hosting Bethlehem Academy, the team they beat for last year's title.

1st quarter, Austin Reitan muscles his way in from 12 yards out.

Mahnomen goes up 7-0.

The Indians defense has been the best in the state all year, no exception today, they piled up 3 sacks, 2 interceptions, pitching their 8th shutout of the year.

3rd quarter, press the record button, Nathan Hanson makes an outstanding juggling catch in the endzone off the pass from Tom Pavek.

It took awhile to rule it a touchdown, but they did.

Mahnomen wins 19-0.

The Indians will play Dawson-Boyd in a rematch of the 2011 state championship. The Blackjacks are the only team to beat Mahnomen over the last 3 years.
