Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A seven year old Fargo girl is credited for saving her grandmother's life.
This Wednesday the Red River Regional Dispatch centered honored her as a 911 Hero.
On September 15th, Riley King called 911 when she was unable to wake up her grandma, Joy Golden.
Rylie explained to a dispatcher that her mother taught her to call 911 for an emergency.
Without immediate assistance Golden wouldn't be here today.
Joy Golden/Survivor: “Her and I were sitting at the table coloring and I got a very strange in the top of my head and I said I have to go and lay down a little bit and I woke up four days later in the hospital.”
Riley's mom tells us she told her daughter about 911 nearly three years ago and is surprised she remembered at such a young age.
